The History of ConsultX

2005: The Journey Started

Since 2005, ConsultX founder David Thexton has been on a quest to create a world-leading Complete Business Consulting Solution. The journey started during David’s own consulting career after a moment of realisation that he could successfully help more businesses if he had a system to use. Over a 5 year period, David developed a consulting framework that was so effective, that a client insisted he needed to share it with others.

2008: First Consulting Firm Launched

To scale what he had learned in the early years, David began building a Business Consulting Firm on Australia’s Gold Coast. This 8-person Firm helped to further build out and refine the framework we still use to this day.

2010: Franchise Development

The Business Success Programme was established as a Franchise in 2010 throughout Australia, quickly expanding to New Zealand, then Europe. Rapid growth and ongoing improvements over the next 6 years saw 150 Franchisees join the network and further develop the system, helping improve thousands of businesses along the way. 

2016: ConsultX Software Live

To provide better diagnostic tooling and automate some of the consulting work, the ConsultX software was designed over a 2-year period.

2021: Fathom Software Integrated

Fathom is a world-leading accounting intelligence company that is changing the game for the financial aspect of Business guidance. When we found Fathom, we knew we had to partner with them, to ensure all of our network members had access to the world’s best tools.
